Hemingway House.

Six- toed cats included.

This home belonged to Earnest Hemingway during the 1930’s. He lived and wrote most of this published works here, and Key West as inspiration for “The Old Man and The Sea”.

Touring this house was so amazing because it’s been there over 130 years, and is still in fantastic condition. There is a main two-story house that still possesses most of the original furniture as well as a writing studio above what use to be an entertainment area (now a book shop, how fitting). The property has an open yard space, a pool built buy Hemingway then wife Pauline, to replace a full regulation boxing ring, and many many  six- toed cats.

This is definitely worth a visit because it still is rich with history and the tour guides are super informative and helpful.

Key West, Florida. This is the second time I have been down to Key West. I like the island vibe in conjunction with good food. Key west is limited on its beach space, as in good luck finding one. The best once I’ve been to belongs to the Waldorf Astoria on the east side of the island, as well as Zachary Taylor State Park Beach. I’ve found that key west is great for walking, biking, eating, drinking and snorkeling. I happen to love Snorkeling so I went on a “Double Dip Snorkel Trip” on s Fury catamaran. Whenever possible I try to go local, with food or activities, Fury isn’t local but the people who crew the boats are and they definitely make the experience great.
